Turn off your computer and so to a nursing home or an assisted living facility and visit somebody who doesn't get many visits. They will appreciate you, and you will learn to appreciate them.
AND you may become friends with some of the staff people as well.

You need to find appropriate places to make friends. You can try chatrooms or look about on myspace or yahoo 360 and try to contact people.
