wi glesga keelies its a bit mair tricksy, so it is, cos millyins of wur words are aw made up. A guzzle of irn bru is really a drink -'i-yer ginger, an a piece n sausage is a tasty bite. And the breid has to be plain no pan. We go a trip doon the watter oan the waverly an huv a wee swally when wur ther. Left overs are stuck in a poke to take up the road. The weans a' have snottery beaks, an noo n agen, wur mammys' skelp wur bahookies when we gie her cheek.
I hope this enlightens you a little bit between the slightly further north and the south.

every person in north or south divide has there own slang words, us brits are known for it, with our apples and pears (staires) and north and south lol (mouth) amd are (pop) for ifzzy drinks it just how we are, my kids at school had an australian teacher over and she said to one of the boys pull your pants up meaning trousers and the lad said "well miss my pants arnt down anywhere" lol, strange how different words can mean different things lol.

Fresh
In the north it means fairly drunk
In the south it means sexually promising
I have been embarrassingly misunderstood on more than one occasion!!!

Don't ask southerners for a 'brew' or a 'barmcake', they just look at you like you're a bit strange....
