It had to be at the 1990 M.C. Hammer concert at the Rosemont Horizon (Chicago area) which is now called the Donald Stevens Convention Center. Since then, on a weekly basis it is usually at my church home back in Chicago, the House of Hope (Salem Baptist Church) which seats 10,500 and has about 100 people standing at most times (crew, ushers, et cetera). Joel Osteen's church in Texas' crowd looks astoundingly larger than just about any gathering I've ever seen. Leaving out of a Notre Dame football game used to astound me as well. Fab question, man!

The frist nascar race in Las Vegas (1996). It wasn't that there were so many people, but when we were leaving, there was only one gate for people to get out of. We ended up in the middle of a people jam for about 45 minutes. You couldn't see or move, it was warm out, people were sick and panicing. It was awful.
