Yes but you need a place to keep it and probably a lisc. for it. The company I work for mixes liquid nitrogen with ammonia to temper metal.

Yes.
I once heard that you can use it to make ice cream. you just use it instead of the ice and rock salt.
Its faster and more creamy but probably more expensive.
