All females are at least BORN with one.
It is NORMAL to have one, although they all come in different shapes and sizes. Some bigger, some smaller. Just like the male penis, all are different.

Females are born with clitoris.

However, there is special cases where females are both born with clitoris and penis. That is when removal of one or other private when determined if she has ovaries/uterus or male hormones. Chromosome and genetic code errors when sex stage is forming.

In some cultures, females and males are circumcised. Male circumcision appeared in the Jew tradition. Same with females. Also, some tribes in other Countries remove clitoris for religious reasons. Even some cultures sew the birthing canel, leaving open enough for menstruating until she is wed to prevent her from having sex prior to marriage. A "non virgin" in some tribes is considered wash up goods, not valued and in some sever cases, stoned to death.

Speaking on the first topic of born with both male and female private locations. Back in the 1970's and 1980's, doctor's did a few errors and what was a boy, was actually made to a girl. Visa verse. So, it is crucial to exam in the baby internally.

In some case's of male circumcision, an infant boy's went wrong and doctor I know of got sued by damaging the penis. Instead of raising as boy, the parents raised as a girl by surgery and hormones. Major law suit over that.

All girls are born with a clitoris. In some cultures there are barbaric customs of circumcising females and the clitoris is removed. It's amazing how here in the States everyone agrees how horrific female circumcision is BUT they still line up to have their little boy's foreskins sliced off. The sterility of the procedure is the main difference.

No, some cultures remove it because they believe in female circumcision. IMO it is just as awful as male circumcision. Both can deprive the person of pleasure, and the procedure itself will leave the person often mutilated and can threaten their very life.
