Thinking of someone could be like a happy thought of things you both have done or things you have talked about.
And missing someone is more intense, more of a longing and sadness because they are not near you.

The difference is about 42,000 wasted brain neurons. They are equally sweet sentiments. If you miss someone, you've GOT to see them like yesterday. If you are thinking of someone, you can go a few more weeks before you "miss" them.

There isn't much difference except that missing someone is something you feel in your heart and are bound to think about them allot , thinking of them means just that they are in your thoughts and you care enough to let them know that.

There's a big difference in it my dear.its not that simple & the same.Thinking of u signifies that u r remembering of him/her & is in memories of him/her.Missing u means he is all the time thinking of u & its not in his/her to get out of it.He/she needs u & badly requires u to be with him/her at that point of time.Its an urge & hurts when he/she is unable to get in touch.
