His brother Raul will be quickly removed from power with the assist of the CIA infiltrators who are already there.
The Cuban people will then proceed to vote democratically for a new leader or president.
It will then no longer be a dictatorship and communist state and will become a free, democratic society and a friend of the United States. No longer will there be Cubans trying to defect to the US on the rinky, dink boats they quickly assemble to make their escape. They will be welcomed into this country and will be able to join their family and friends who have successfully defected in the past.
A new era in Cuban and United States relationships will begin.
Cuba will become the next "go to" place for vacationers from the U.S. and the Cuban economy will soar to heights never imagined under Communist rule.
All of this will occur within a five year period following Fidel's death.

His bother Raoul will take over, as he is now with Fidel in the Hospital. Unless there is a Revolution on Cuba, which would not necessarily be a good thing, Things most likely will stay the same. If either Fidel or Raoul change their stances on a few things, I am sure the U.S. would be more then happy to open trade with them. I really don't see that happening, but you never know.

His brother will inherit the "throne", die within months, cause a system wide collapse, and in the vaccum a new state will emerge that will be horribly abused by unethical Americans exploiting the indifference the general population has towards Cuba in response to Fidel being gone

Well his brother Raul is expected to take over, but the US has plans to make sure that doesnt happen once Fidel is dead.
