I would like to know if your experiences of shopping on line have all been a success. And if you had difficulty in returning faulty goods and indeed how many goods were faulty?

Thank you

I have never really had any problems with ordering goods, it has mainly been goods delivered damaged. For example I had damaged basins (4), damaged bath taps (2 sets) I am having a new bathroom installed and have sourced most of the
items online no problem. So it is either been badly packaged or mishandled goods that has been the source of my problem. Wake up some of you UK suppliers and ensure your goods are properly packaged and sent by a reputable courier service. I have received items from the States that were packaged in such away to ensure that even if they were mishandled in transit they still arrived unscathed.

I am in the military, living in Germany at the moment. Pretty much all of my shopping is online. And I have never had a problem with returning things. Make sure before you buy though, to check out the return policy. Most of the time, manufactures pack there things very good, because otherwise they are out money if the product breaks. I have never had anything I had bought from a company break, now Ebay is another story, lol.
Hope this helps.

I order 90% of my stuff online now, including the ocassional piece of clothing and all my toilettries.

I find it more convenient that trapsing round loads of shops and I can fit it in whe I have time. I also get a wider range of choices and can get things cheaper than retail stores.

I have had no prolems returning anything damaged and most retailers are very helpful about this.

The only thing I would recomend is paying by either paypal (a lot of online shops take this method) or get a credit card that provides guaranteed internet security - a few do icluding Egg and I think Goldfish. Never use a debit card!!!!

I have ordered lots of products online, probably weekly. Mostly clothing since I am short its hard to find my size. I have only had one problem - I bought a cell phone part on eBay that was represented falsely. I did not have success with getting that issue resolved, but that was only 1 bad time out of 100's of successful orders from all over the web.

I have been shopping online for years and have returned only one product because it was the wrong size.

All my purchases have been exactly what I wanted including a futon that I bought from a store in Texas. I live in Indiana.

You need to choose your shopping sites wisely. There are a lot of sites where my granddaughter would like to purchase typical teenage stuff but is not allowed to because the site is not secured.

I have bought may stuff online many from play.com or music downloads. I have never had a problem and with play.com it always arrives a day before they say it will.

The only problem is having to wait for the goods to come back in stock when they are out of stock.

I find it easier then looking down the shops downtown as its easier to find what you want and you don't have to ask the staff to find out if they sell what your looking for if you can't find it.

Well I have been buying online stuff, with different websites and never face any porblem so far. You have to be patient to receive the goods as it may take some more time what exactly they commit. One more suggestion i would like to give use paypal or low balance credit cards to be safer side.

I have so far never had a problem I am very careful about it and do my research. There are some things i just won't buy on-line if I am not sure about them. I just ordered a picnic table and it is so beautiful I couldn't be happier.

I have had about 99% good luck with online shopping.
Make sure you read over return policies before buying.
