Absolutely not! Real love is so rare after so many years anymore. If it works for the both of you, and you can make the best out of the worst situations, you've made love work irregardless of what culture, color, or any differences you may both have.

No, it doesn't matter. Love is love. Although, if two love each other and of the same culture..they might have a higher level of understanding, same way of thinking somehow, and much more things in common. Usually people prefer to be with someone of the same cultural background, but some people are way too open-minded that cultural differences don't matter..and some people just don't cling to their traditions or cultures and have been westernized by other cultures which also mean that in that case cultural difference doesn't really exist and so the relationship works.

Yes, cultural differences are even worse than vast age differences. My wife of 21 years is from the Philippines, she has been honorable and faithful. I love Asian women and was so delighted with this arrangement. Sometime the lack of understanding everyday jokes, statements,TV shows, movies and general lack of relating on many terms causes problems. The way we look at child rearing, who does what etc. causes problems. The list goes on. If the union is not a strong one , it could be disastrous.
There are many things young lovers never discuss before marriage but people from the same culture usually don't have to.

Culture has nothing to do with love, love is a matter of the heart, without reservation and with all sincerity!
Culture comes in when you both fail to understand each other.....
Once the understanding is there every other thing follows except you wish to hold back and have dooubts about your heart!
Follow your heart and not your land!

Cultural distinction particularly does count, it ought to reason a number of disagreements in a dating. possible be alright knowledgeable yet lack in honesty, intregrity , no longer be truthful . Ones character and morals are only as considerable as being "knowledgeable". Accepting a marriage theory from somebody you have under no circumstances met is a receipt for disaster. The 8 years distinction isn't this style of massive factor.

Love must be beyond any culture. The problem is when one insists on the cultural customs and the other unable to cope up with. If we value love, then we must be willing to sacrifice the cultural restrictions. Else, it is better to remain in the culture the individual is brought up.

Of course not. There are many people who marry other people from different countries and they get along very well. What matters is that you're in love and you accept each other's culture.

Yes, my ex was a European. Insisting on going bare breast on a beach in Southeast Asia, where women wear more cloths going to the beach than to shopping malls.
Always end up in she being scared from guys looking and I took her hiding in my car. Once she took off her cloths to try on a dress in a dressing room in a department store, but with the door opened. She was nice though! Took a lot of time before we could have same dressing cloths. Imagine other things!!!
