Log in yahoo mail! Then go to What's New! and select it. You'll be directed to another page containing all new yahoo products for mail directory, including the new mail beta.
To activate it you have to suscribe on a waiting list (at Beta Update, select get on waiting list). Now just click Get it First and you'll be on the list! It usually takes a week or two to activate the mail beta!
Mail beta is only supported by IE 5.5 (and above) Firefox 1.5 (and above) and Netscape 8 (and above).

yahoo.mail beta version is only available to the US yahoo users
but soon it will be there in India And other countries.

Yahoo sent out invites to people for this beta. If you have got an invite, you can use this beta version. It is not available to choose as an option from normal Yahoo mail.
This invites are not sent by yahoo users. It is sent by yahoo itself.

that link is gonna take u to yahoo beta but make sure u change ur display settings to higher resolution. I use 1024*786 and works good
