Tempting, but no. The use of Nukes is far too destructive to the environment as a whole, and while cost effective in a way, they are unessary. See links:

No, I wouldn't. Nukes are a weapon of last resort. They are indiscriminate, and would kill many innocents as well as the guilty ones.
Much better to weed out the guilty ones; get them on the run and scared of us.
