You will always have fears. They are part of the human condition and in some ways are good for you. The problems with fears are in two areas.
1. They prevent actions - this is something that can be overcome by practice. Two thinks that are useful is movement and self direction. When you are fearful do something - anything - the act of movement tends to lessen the fear because the body perceives that action is being taken. The other is self direction - talk to your self - give yourself directions this helps to remove your mind from the physical effects of fear. Talking to yourself (silently) can help you to make the movements suggested above.
2. They take up time - many people spread the fear of an upcoming event out over days. It is possible to schedule your fear. You can make a conscious decision that you are going to wait until a preselected time to be fearful. Then you can use the method above.
The two tricks above got me (the worlds biggest coward) through a war so I know they can work for you.

Hello. Fear in psychology is a mental state of anxiety and tenseness (that also affects our physical state) in response to something we perceive to be threatening to our well being. I for one have fear for many things. Not the sort of fears that most people talk about but fear for weird things that I am sure if I ever mention them to anyone they will laugh their guts out over them. I believe the practical steps you ought to take to get over your fears would be:
1. Telling yourself over and over that what ever it is that scares you it is smaller than you and you can control it.
2. Visualising yourself facing or confronting this thing or situation you fear and do a visual practice.
3. Expose yourself to this thing or situation. But you must take your steps once at time.
4.And at last but not least convince yourself that you have got nothing to lose even if people make fun of you because of your fears.

There is a philosopher that says there is no absence of fears but mastery of fears itself.
It is not as if you don't have the fear at all but you work around it and just go ahead with whatever you are doing.
What we need to fear is the fear itself and there is actually nothing to be afraid of in the actual sense of it but the fear itself
As from today make up your mind to be doing those things that scares you like talking infront of a crowd or bold enough to do things which you vcan't do normally.
And i mean positive things and not weird things my dear.Take kia and be good.
If you are a believer of the bible, then the bible says "God has not given us the sririt of fear but of love, power and of sound mind".
Always say that to yourself or say " I can do all things through Christ that sthrenghtens me" anytime you are having that feeling of fear at all.
Or you can say "i am not scared" "I am bold"to yourself anytime you are having the feeling

Maybe you should just try to face your fear. Many things are not as terrifying as we think they are. Try to consider them only with your reason, or talk to someone about how dangerous something really is. And then go ahead, do what you are afraid of, and you will probably realize that it wasn't so bad.

ya there is a practical way we can leave our fear behind
1)start believing in your self
2)never lie to anybody have faith in god and always believe that
3)what ever is happening is for your good
and
4)don't forgets the ultimate truth that
A)every body has to die one day
B)when you die you don't take any thing with you you were born with nothing and will die and not be able to take anything with you
C)REM:people die but not there soul

You just have to switch your mind off by telling yourself that the thoughts running through your head are just paranoia, so stop listening to them. Focus on what you want, and then just do it.
