The second time since the fighting started, the US has used a UK airbase to transprot bombs to israel.
Surely they are keeping the war going? With all the innocent civilians killed on both sides, how can the US talk about a ceasefire and why is Blair stalling on the issue also?

The question is about the UK and US position on this issue. And the blatent fake posturing of the political leaders.
There are innocent victims on BOTH SIDES, as I mentioned in the orginal question.
You've missed my point Glen T. Thanks for telling me I took the terrorist line. From my persepctive, there are terrorists on both sides. I want a peaceful world for my child to grow up in.

US trust Israelis as the Government is runnning under a Prime Minister and at the control of Parliament and not in the hands of a few Islamic Jihadis and terrorist gangas. They (US) can trust those who really go upto the expectation of Seneate & Congress in US, that is to have freedom speech, expression and unity.
These bombs may be transported as replacement for those are used in Lebanon all these days fighting Islamic Terrorists & Jihadis by Israel.
It is called B & B Company (ME), B & B : Bush & Blair.... In a company the decision always comes ones eventhough it has different mind set Directors!

your view of this war is somewhat off the mark. neither the US, UK, or israel started it and they cannot stop it either. it was started by the terrorist lackeys of iran and until they decide to end it or they are destroyed it will continue. the US is looking for a permanent end to the problem and not just another in a long list of "cease fires" that only allow the terrorists a chance to regroup and rearm. this wil not happen until and unless the terrorists and their backers are beaten down to the point where they realize it is not worth the pain to continue. the only way one side can stop a war is to surrender, as long as one side wants to fight it will go on. do you really think it will end if israel stops its attacks? so far there is very little evidence to support such a view. no matter what israel does or does not do she still gets attacked by someone.
as to the "innocent civilians" being killed most of them are on the south side of the border. there's a lot of photos of armed men in civilian dress launching rockets at israel and they are known to use real civilians as shelter by placing their launchers and weapons stores in residential areas or in schools and churches. a terrorist in civvies is easy to claim as a innocent civilian to a gullible newsie. israel did try a stand down of her air attacks for 48 hours but all that happened was an increase in attacks against her. please stop just parroting the terrorist line and try to get informed about something before you post, your ignorance is showing

It's undoubtedly because of the economic power and political influence of the Jewish lobby.The peerage for loans situation in respect of the Blair government tells the whole story.The North London mob,Sainsbury,Levy and Hamlyn all have direct connections with the Israeli government and also donate massive proportions of their wealth to Israel.. What does Blair offer in return,guess !!!.Additionally,Blair has made Levy,a man with no previous governmental experiance his special envoy to the middle east.Such political bias towards another nuclear armed sovereign state should be seen as treason

Hi! I wouldnt worry about it - its best the whole middle east gets Nuked ! Or else the whole region will get masses of EU & US aid to enable them to re-arm themselves and start all over again.. Re: Tony - he is loving being next to Arnie - but Tony has a bigger problem on his hands - the thought of going on Holiday and leaving John " the stud " Prescott in charge of the UK.

the us has a contract with israel to supply them with weapons. it was made before the fighting. they must fullfill their contract.
why do both contries stall or whatever. cause they know that israel is doing as much bad as everyone else claims. people are mad at the deaths of the civilians of lebanon. but no one cared about all the dead israeli civilians from before when hebzollah sent rockets into israel
