Do I believe that you can call a rose by any other name and it would smell as sweet? Yes. It might not sound as sweet, but; the smell would stay the same.

From Romeo and Juliet. There is a lot of reality in what we make up, like family and law. If two familes are enemies, that necessarily involves any people in the families. A lot of
Jews and Muslims, for instance, would just prefer getting along together- shopping at the same stores, sharing classes at the same schools, and walking down the same streets. But they can't because of their designation.

Perhaps it was relevant in the situation prevalent then.
But, naming is a fully developed science in India, and the roots spring from its ancient rich language Sanskrit. The very language is said to be a discovered one, the most compatible one for computing world (artificial intelligence!).
So, name says everything about the named one, be it person, place, or thing.

Some things have names which influence our perception. In your example, yes, a rose would smell as sweet, but if we did not know it was called a rose, we wouldn't have all the associations with it that we have with the word "rose."

well sure I do. Have you ever truly loved anyone ??? If you have, ask yourself, if they have their names changed would your feelings change? It doesn't right?
