Well of course diet nad exercise, but you need to do cardio in order to lose the fat. If you want t otrim your waist or get abs then I suggest crunches, pushups nad sit-ups. Billy Blanks has a great abs bootcamp and my waist trimmed, I lost a lot of the fat, and you can see the definition in my abs. Try to do cardio three times a week for at least 30 minutes and after a few weeks you will feel and see hte diference.

Not buying into those cheap :30 min "Will flatten your belly...!" ads you see on TV for some of the stupidest ideas that you will ever see. That will atleast keep some money for a gym and will not make you feel bad for thinking they are doing something you are not (or that you need that crap).

Do not do any sit ups as you will weaken your back.
Most probable causes are as follows:
1. Lack of exercises - cardio & muscle training
2. Change your diet to wheat free, (eliminate starches) potatoes, rice.
3. Sugar & Sugar-free drinks
4. Caffiene drinks (blocks insulin production)
5. Lack vegetables & raw foods
6. Lack of low GI fruits (bitter & low sugar)
7. Nuts & seeds & healthy oils such
8. Too much fried foods with additives (MSG, apsartame)

GO IMMEDIATELY TO YOUR FRIDGE/FREEZER AND LARDER CUPBOARD.......THROW OUT ALL OF THE RUBBISH AND JUNK FOOD AND DRINKS THAT YOU HAVE IN STOCK. IT SOUNDS HARSH BUT YOU DID ASK.
AS FROM THAT MOMENT WHEN YOU HEAR THE TRASH CRASH, START THINKING ABOUT HEALTHY EATING AND DRINKING FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
BE STRONG, WALK PAST THE BREAD, CAKES, BISCUITS, SWEETS, CHOCOLATE, COLA, SOFT DRINKS ETC. IN THE SHOP. GO STRAIGHT TO THE SALAD, FRUIT AND VEG. SECTIONS AND BUY ONLY HEALTHY FOOD. ALSO, IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY DO IT, DRINK WATER FROM GETTING OUT OF BED TO GOING BACK TO BED. KEEP SOME WATER IN THE FRIDGE, ADD ICE OR EVEN A SLICE OF LEMON OR LIME, POUR WATER INTO A LONG GLASS, TRICK YOURSELF INTO THINKING THAT IT IS A STIFF DRINK.
WALK AS FAR AS YOU CAN. IF YOU CAN WALK IT, DON'T DRIVE IT, IF YOU CAN CYCLE, DO SO, IF YOU WANT TO RUN, RUN BUT NOT IN THIS INTENSE HEAT.
SWIM IF YOU CAN, EXCERCISE DOES NOT HAVE TO ALMOST KILL YOU.
GOOD LUCK AND BE A HAPPY, HEALTHY, FIT PERSON NO NEED TO WORRY MUCH LONGER ABOUT A CHUBBY TUMMY.

Im an hour glass too! I think men prefer us than skinny girls. My husband adores my curves and when I go out with my girlfriends at weekends I am not short on offers from men!
Look at Catherine Zeta and j lo they seem to do ok with their curves look miles better than kate moss and the likes!
Be happy with what youv'e got and wear clothes to flaunt those curves!!!

well a big belly is'nt hard to loose because im also trying to loose mine. i started eating healthier-salads,pastas weekly and doing sit-ups. it can be strenuous in the beginning but you'll get use to it.
I know the feeling of when you see it in the mirror or its hanging over your jeans- but if you dedicated and patient and live healthier, im sure you'l start seeing results.
oh, if you drink beer? Stop as soon as you can!!!!

Slendertone is a good way of toning up hun...little expensive but if it gets rid of the belly,sooo worth it!
