Even regarding humans, please notice, psychology is the only science developed very recently, undergoes changes at its very fundamentals, and is very unstable, yet mystic enough to afford lot of doctors to make 'easy money' !
Provide little freedom to animals, and they ALWAYS DO WELL , better without human interference !

Why not? They get depressed. I would hope the responsible owner would tell their vet if it wasn't working. I don't know if it works, maybe they get it for themselves.

Animal psychologists are needed for people with too much money so they have places to spend their cash. Other then that I think it is a big load of bull. :D
