If you don't engage your brain too much, its good fun with a megalomaniac villain and great flying sequences and effects.
There were definitely things that needed improving though - not enough Clark Kent stuff (apparently he is a reporter but you wouldn't know that from the movie!) and it's too long - if it had been trimmed to 2 hours it would have been better.

It was very poor, the story line was poor and was not true to the Superman story, e.g in the originals the smallest amoutn of kryptonite would cripple Superman - yet he could carry a whole island made of it??
Best part of the film was the scene with the aeroplane, if it was like that all the way through it would have been gret.
Originals are better!

The special effects where good but that was it! The rest sucked and as for using an unknown for superman, big mistake! Superman from Smallville would have been better as he is just so damn sexy and has a certain Christopher Reeve thing going on...the old superman movies where a lot more fun! As for the new Lois Lane she was just a bad actress with a bad hair job...

i believe superman returns were not up2 da expectations. Batman Begins was better dan dis. The Story, acting and presentation wuz better in Batman Begins. I njoyed the visuals but story sucked.

Great Movie - I do think they prob could of found a better person to play superman though.

I loved it! I fell in love with him! It was definitely a different experience watching it as an adult! I LOVE HIM!!!! lolololololololololololol
