Everywhere when someone claims they got raped by a celebrity they sue for money. Since when does money make up for you getting raped (if thats what really happened)? If i supposedly got raped by a celebrity i would want them in jail & not their money so i could make sure someone else didnt have to go through the same thing.

I agree with you. But sadly, rape laws are so freaking lax that rather than go through a criminal trial, rape victims will sue in the civil courts. Its easier to win this way and less taxing on the victim.
Look at the Kobe Bryant case. That girl couldnt even make it to court, she was being harrassed and threatened so much for the criminal case.

I think it is mostly a set up.
Normally a "not a celebrity" can buy sex for money without any fuss. But for a celebrity who might want the same service - it is dangerous. And if the service provider is not discrete there you go - a rape case..
This is just my opinion because I don't think many celebrities are rapists.

I agree with you, the same way I can never understand why people,who have lost someone through a hospital blunder,sues the hospital. The money's never gonna bring them back and its not gonna make their pain any easier, so why do it.I know they say its to stop it happening again but how???????

i don't know. maybe they just wanna 4get abt it and move on with life with a little more money. some ppl who r poor care more abt their family than justice. who can blame them? they just wanna fill their stomachs.
