Those claims are not accurate. The only thing that really effects the development of products is supply and demand. The cost to develop new environmental technologies is enormous. For instance do you think if Ford or GM developed a car that didn't need gas, that they wouldn't jump on it. It would make them a fortune. It would make them the market leader, and that's what these businesses want.

Clean technology's exist but for the most part they are in their infancy. They cost to develop these things will go down with time, and as the consumer begins to demand these products manufactures will begin to really focus on that type of R&D.

Solar cells are very expensive, and they are only efficent up to 15%. The cost of fitting solar panels which are effiencent enough to function properly would make the vehicle ridiculously expensive.

The water powered car goes off the principle of extracting hydrogen and oxygen from water. This is an easy procedure, by applying eletric current to water which seperates the water. Then the engine itself would run on the hydrogen. Today you hear about this when you hear about fuel cells. Every company knows that this is the so called Holy Grail. But njo compnay has been able to perfect this. The energy required to make this work doesn't equal out to the energy made by the procedure. Soon in the future they will find a way to make this work, and it will change the whole industry. But this is probably going to be 15 years out.

Dont give in to the enviromentalist hype. There is no conspiracy.
It is only Simple economics.

They killed the Red Line trains in Southern CA in the 1950's and they killed the electric cars in the 1990's...among other things. So I'd say, YEAH!
