Download Remote Admin from www.radmin.com (free and simple) and transfer file from one PC to another.
You can also try Ultra VNC (ultravnc.sourceforge.net) or Real VNC (www.realvnc.com) - both free and rich in features.

Why not try doing it remotely, which means you open a remote PC which you want datas to be received, and your current PC to connect into the remote PC itself.
Sending it using this way might take up time, especially if you want to transfer huge files from a PC to another.
Alternatively, you can try getting a huge webspace, upload them onto the webhost, and download those files to your PC from another city. Also this is a time consuming method.
Both are not expensive methods, you may want to try them.

If you have a large amount of data to transfer, you might want to think about copying it into a thumb-drive, or write it to a CD, and mailing it. It will save you some down time (waiting for the files to transfer), and you won't have to worry about encrypting the data or connection drop-outs.

I used to use a program called "GoToMyPC" which was excellent for file transfer. At one time, they had a free trial. It's worth checking out.
