I’m a Juve fan, and to tell you the truth I think that this is a real punishment, the game level in what they played was too low, their game had no beauty at all… Juventus had, well maybe the best players in the world, just take a look at their roster (from 2005/2006): Buffon, Zambrotta, Canavaro, Thuram, Camoaronesi, Nedved, Emerson, Del Piero, Trezeguet… - all these players are world class players, and should be able to defeat every single one of the teams in Serie A… Don’t you think so? So this punishment in my opinion is very real…

It's fair, If Juventus were allowed to get off lightly, then what would happen in the new season. And If the board were the only people top get punished , what then if the board resigns before the decision? The bianco neri had to be punished in order to hurt those that are on the board. And shame them.
I do believe though that they were not the only culprits in this fiasco. And others by association to the former president got off lightly. I believe there is much more to come from this, and we haven't heard the last of it yet!

I think that you have a good point in sayng that the bord of directors of F.C. Juventus should be punished instead of the players and the team itself.

Haven't u heard this proverb be for that ; IT IS ONE FINGER WHICH TOUCHES THE OIL THAT GOES ROUND THE WORLD. So i think the people who guide the JUVENTUS are the real JUVENTUS cos without them u may not know about the club. YEAH FIFA did pretty job their so that this our beautiful socker will not perish with full of corruption.

YES!! not only juve! even fiorentina and lazio should have gone to serie B!! they are so lucky they escaped! they deserve no less! in fact, juve should be in serie C!!! they were relegated because of the whole match fixing scandal, but yes, i do see your point, why should the PLAYERS have to suffer. besides cannavaro, emmerson, zambrotta and thuram, no players are being ALLOWED to leave juve. the first 2 went to real madrid, the next 2 went to barcellona. juve also traded adrian mutu with fiorentina for valerie bojinov.

they did it to benifit the club so the best way of hurting them is to hurt the club.

They cheated, they pay in a humiliating and public way.

Still think AC Milan and Lecce should be down too though and all punished in the same way
