Less and less each day.
I think that nowadays here (South Europe) no one expects that the girl is virgin when she is marrying.
It's part of progress I presume.
My opinion?
Virginity isn't the most important thing, but it has importance.

It doesn't matter to me. I am an Asian. I know what you are talking about. Everyone has their first time, man or woman.
It could be a good memory, but it shouldn't be a burden. Nowadays we are more free and aware our right to our body, our life. So I would say make your first time special to you, so that you would feel sweet when you think about it in the future!
Don't worry about how people think, and if your boyfriend/ husband cannot accept it, that's their problem. I think it actually means they are not confident about their sex ability enough to be with a girl who has sex experience.

It's weird, some people it seems to matter to here. I can't say it mattered to me, but it would if I could change things now. I live in Oklahoma, so there's not much else to do other than drugs and sex when your a teenager. I honestly can't think of a single one of my friends that really seemed to care about it though, like they were litterally glad to be rid of it. I'm about to start my sophmore year in high school, and I can't think of any of my friends that are virgins honestly.

Virginity doesn't matter if you really love your partner. Sex is a wonderful thing, it's a gift from above. Why keep yourself virgin and depriving yourself from heavenly feeling. It's not bad as religions connotate it. Religions were invented by hypocrites.

For me, it doesn't really matter that much. I feel what matters most is if you really love the other person. Love is forgiving. Love is blind. What should matter is the love and commitment that the other person has for his/her partner/spouse and not virginity.
