Because a pet is company who doesn't judge you, and generally thinks you're the greatest as long as you feed it and care for it. And it's fun to watch them and learn about their personalities and habits and silly things they do.

OK, I have cats two boys they are kind the love me they are affectionate all they wanna do is be around me I'm a dude I cant explain it to you if you have not experienced it but pet give affection when you interact w/ them they have feelings ans if they let you get close enough to them you can tell when how they feel it is soo cool from birds to fish to snakes pets horses cows pigs they all make us feel good when everyone judges pet don't pets love constantly when you need it it seems lol. some give their lives to save ours cool huh??

I love my pets b/c they give me company and I know they will be my best friend for as long as they live and will never turn on me like a person would and that they will be there for me when I need them the most. A person would turn on you and brake your heart while a pet will ( as I said) be there for you.

Pets are very loving, and better than some people. They can be watch dogs, and make good companions.

Can't take chances with humans as pets !
Animal pets ask very little, give back a lot !
Good bargain !
Not so, with humans ! Usually the other way round ! !

Basic facts are ; they have plenty of times and money. Should you take out these 2 facts then life is hard ? How to have pets even feed yourself also problem ? Agree ?

For comfort, friendship & company, i guess.
I'm not sure about other pets, but my dog snuggles up to me when i'm feeling down & even puts his paw on my lap for comfort! Who wouldn't love that?

they offer unconditional love, laughter & companionship.....personally I cant imagine not having pets in my life

to piss off ppl, like the first poster.
BECAUSE animals are wonderful. and sharing your life with one is great!
i personally dislike ppl that don't like animals. they must be very callous and hateful ppl indeed!
