Egypt is one amongst tourist destination for a long time. Egyptian people are already used having foreigners visitors. They are warm-hearted in dealing visitors and you can expect all kind of services offered with a little amount of pay.( They could be harsh among themselves but pretty good to the foreigners.) Tourists are given high regards so there is nothing to fear but just take care as you may also find some "black sheep" along the way. But as I can say Egypt is generally safe and you will enjoy your stay without fear.

I went to Egypt in March, I felt very safe.
I spend 5 days in Cairo, visiting some museum and walking in the Khan el Khalili (the Islamic part of Cairo) which is my favourite part. People there were very friendly. We were only 2 Europeans (my bf and I) and we never felt unsafe.
We also spend 4 days in the desert in the west of Cairo (the White Desert, Agabet...) And that's the best trip I ever did ! The landscape are beautiful, the night in the desert, with the strange light of the moon, was amazing. And there is no terrorists in the desert, so it's safe !
If you want more details, just send me a message.

I went to Egypt several times. I went a couple of times with my family and once with my school for M.U.N. It's very safe but I have to tell you the traffic is bad and it's kind of dirty in Cairo!
I advise you to go to Khan Al Khalili, it's an old market place it's amazing! And you have to visit the Pyramids too!
And if you can book a room at the InterContinental Citystars Cairo, it's an amazing hotel that's connected to the Citystars mall filled with shops and restaurants!

Or you could go to Sharm al Shiekh, it's an amazing beach with great places to stay and a nice nightlife!
If you still want to come to the Middle East and not to Egypt come to Jordan! It's amazing! I highly reccomend going to Amman for shopping, the dead sea or Aqaba for some fun in the sun, and Petra to see the historical ruins and it's where the last sequal of the Indian Jones Trilogy was shot! Or you can even go camping or sky diving in Wadi Rum!

I've been there all my life! Egypt is a safe country. Alot of foreigners visit and even reside in Egypt for a while. Citizins are hospitable and generous. Egypt does not sleep in summer! There are alot of places to see and activities to do in every city.
Contact me if you need further information :)

i've been to Sharm El Sheik the week before the attack... but i'll came back to Nov to MarsHalam...
don't never go alone in small street, specially if you are a girl, mens always try to "speak" with you, try to cheat you...
at Sharm seaside is not great, lot of pollution, but full of shops and casinò.
i'm planning MarsHalam 'cause has great sea and is quite...
well... i don't know if there is a safe country in these days... just live your life
