clear nail polish will only stop the hose from running further but you can still see the run and the white dash of nail polish. what i want to know if there is any tool kits out there to mend these ugly runs (and you don't see these runs anymore) on my expensive stockings so that I don't need to throw them away. they cost me USD20 a pair.

Clear nail polish on the end of the run will stop it from continuing to run. Other than that, try a different brand of pantyhose, some brands are just more apt to run...even when they are expensive.

Just try some clear finger nail polish. If that dosen't work then you will have to throw them.

clear mail polish usually works but i just hate when i get a run in my hose as well....it just ruins my whole day

Yea, they are called a boyfriend. the leg man guys who love to see you in nylons and will keep buying the good ones for you to wear.
