U already have answered ur question.
My take is --- yes . Looking at the spotless record of India on the world map as the largest democracy in the world and its ever going proxy war with terrorism(Pakistan) from the last 2 decades and the way it has kept its cool unlike countries USA and Israel it should be certainly given a respected position in the UN.

More over India has been developing at a staggering rate of 8% per year. Also it has made tremendous development in the fields of I.T. and Medicine.

I think its high time the world should recognise India's potential as the next 'ethical' world power and give its due.

The great gift to India for this year will be the following provided they are recommended by the Super Powers!
1. Permenent member of security Council with either right to veto or not.
2. Secretary General's position to Mr. Sasi Tharoor.

The Indians are in great favourable expectation and the God will of course send them a pleasnt message with a tag attached with it!

Do you mean the U.N. Security Council? You must do, because India is a permanent member of the U.N. already.

Yes. I think it would make sense to have the worlds largest Democracy as a permanent security council member.

It's a joke, considering Israel are not able to contain that many problems and nonetheless put up even a legitimate facade. Due to the fact that Israel no longer most effective appears quality, however is honestly a thriving society, it does propose that the UN safety council does have some issues that want re-evaluating.

Certainly, India is a huge nation that is fast becoming a major player in the world. If world peace and understanding is a goal, we can't exclude any country from participation in the United Nations.

I thought everyone represented in the UN was a permanent member..... And if India wasn't a permanent member yet, I don't see why they shouldn't be members permanently....
