It is a bit darker than usual, and has some greenish colour at the top. I found no viruses or adware.
Thanks

I worry, cause it worked perfect for 6 months, then when my sister used it once first she said there is a virus, then the monitor changed colour!

Strong magnetic fields (Magnets etc.) will cause the discoloration of your CRT monitor.
Prolong exposure to these fields will result in a permenent discoloration. You can remove the temporary discoloration by pressing on the REFRESH button located on your CRT monitor. Your monitor will "blink and shake off the distortion".
Or, your CRT monitor's tubing is burnt/damaged or wadever that is causing it. It is irrevisible due to age and may suggest that you need a replacement monitor real soon.
Beware, if you see smoke or smell plastic burning from inside your monitor, better stop usage and throw it away.
Getting a new CRT monitor is pretty cheap nowaday..

If you place electromagnetic equipments(like speakers or mobile phones) close to the monitor, some part of the CRT frame ets magnetised and changes its colour to reddish or greenish and it's got nothing to do with viruses or adware. In most such cases, you should be able to reset the monitor to normal colours by pressing the "Degauss" button on the front of the monitor. Some monitor automatically degauss when they are switched on. If a second degauss is needed then give it a break of about 30 mins and try again. In case degaussing doesn't help then you can use software (I don't know of any free ones, you can try googling) that will help you set your monitor. If that doesn't work still, then you can try hardware calibration system which is expensive.

This is not a security problem. I assume it is a CRT. It sounds like it needs degaussing. Did your sister put a loudspeaker or a mobile phone very close to it?
You can normally degauss a monitor using the built in menu on the monitor. It usually has a magnet symbol. When you do it the whole picture will judder and you will hear a low pitch twang noise similar to when you switch it on. If the display is badly affected it may take several tries.
If this doesn't work then it's either broken and needs repair or you're operating it in the wrong hemisphere (your sister doesn't live on the other side of the planet does she?)

If it is an old style (like mine) CRT, then it could just be going bad. The magnets are out of alignment or the beam emitter is off. If it is still good, have you put some unshielded speakers next to it? The magents inside the speakers will mess up the picture. Also, check that you're getting enough power to it. If you have too much in the power strip, it could be a drain. The video card may be going inside your tower. All of these have been problems for me in the past and are easy fixes, just not always cheap.
Then again, someone could just be playing a prank on you and possibly adjusted your brightness settings when you weren't looking. That's a problem some of my friends have faced from time to time :P

It's the monitor causing the problem. Send it for repairs. Could also magnetic field but that will go away after a while.

The monitor is not working good any more. It has nothing to do with the rest of your computer. If you don't know how to repair it yourself, take it to a TV repair shop. It's a simple one and shold not cost you much money
