Of course not, you can't control your subconscience mind.

I'm no expert, but from my understanding dreams tend not to be literal. If there is a meaning to them it tends be some what cryptical. Dreaming that you've killed someone and hid the body wont necessarily mean that you are honestly thinking of doing just that! Look for some other interpretation of the dream. Have you hurt someone (including yourself), are you hiding something? Who was it that you killed? What happened in the dream that you was gay? My advice is to look some form of link to what is actually happening in your life. Dreams can give you an insight into how you are feeling deep down, unfortunately they are not always clear. Don't take them at face value, try and see what is behind it and don't feel bad about them. You cant control your sub-conscious.

Regarding the murder: I firmly believe that EVERY person has a dark side. As such, I think it's much healthier to dream it, or to write it, or to paint it etc than to ACT it. I once had a dream that I very deftly manipulated and then tortured someone that I don't particularly care fore; regardless of whether or not he deserved it, I wouldn't do either of those two things to ANYONE in real life. It did freak me out for awhile, but I've accepted that it doesn't mean I'm a terrible person or anything. Just human.

I also firmly believe that sex dreams don't mean anything. I've had really weird really random ones, and if I looked for meaning there I'd probably be a lot more screwed up than I am.

Your dreams allow you to work through conflicts, deal with complex emotions, unleash hidden desires and anger, and deal with them all safely in your own false reality, where you can truly experience the reactions and feelings involved without any risk to yourself.

The thing is, when you wake up,. your brain and body are still reacting to that dream so you will feel guilty/sad/angry/afraid for a while, but you need to talk things through with yourself and remind yourself it is a dream.

There is no need to feel bad about this. Dreaming that you killed someone is not an indication that you are a bad person and would in fact kill someone. Rather, the person you killed may be a facet of yourself, a part of your personality that you dislike and are trying to be rid of, an act of subconscious self-improvement. It may also be your way of safely expressing anger and frustration in your life, or your brains way of telling you that no matter how angry you may become in reality you couldn't really hurt someone because it makes you feel so bad.

The brain works in complex ways to portray messages to you. As for the homosexual vibe, most dream analysis will tell you this is an expression of self-love and self-acceptance, although it can also be an expression of unease with your feminine/masculine sides. It is also apparently common for expectant fathers to dream they are homosexual. It certainly does not mean you are gay if you feel no indication of this in waking life.

Stop stressing. Dreams are there to tell you things and help you deal with problems from every day life. If you feel concerned by this and do not understand what these meanings could be, try looking up dreams online, either from a symbolic analysis POV, or from a Psychological POV.

Anyway darling, stop worrying. It's all very normal. Just shake off the feelings of guilt and get on with your life. Take care.

What you should and shouldn't feel is the least of it; what you DO feel about these things is the important part.
As others have suggested, dreams are not literal; murder of another person can have many sources. Since you only dreamed the killing of someone once, you would have to examine your relationship with this person before trying to interpret the dream. Typically, killing someone may just represent change in your life. Of course, it could also represent hostility towards this person or even yourself. Hiding the body usually signifies a change in your life where you are simply putting old things away and beginning something new. It may also represent putting those things away which you do not want to face or deal with.
Homosexuality dreams are not that uncommon either; typically, assuming you were comfortable with the relationship in the dream. they signify self-love or an overall satisfaction with oneself. These are more prevalent after a perceived accomplishment in one's life. Your partner in these is significant, especially if he is not homosexual in real life. Typically it represents your anxieties over this person liking you or approving of you in some way.
Back to the original point, if you are uncomfortable with these dreams, I suggest that you consult a psychologist/therapist who deals with dreams. We each need help in dealing with our lives at some point and a therapist can be a very effective means of helping you feel better, hopefully even better than the effects of Yahoo answers. To ask for help is a sign of strength rather than weakness.

No not really, because you cannot control your dreams.

I had a dream similar to yours where I had killed someone and hid the body. Then I used to dream frequently that the Police had found the body and were looking for the culprit. I got scared in case they found out it was me.

The strangest thing was, years after I first had the dream where I had killed someone and hid the body, in real life my wife died. Then the next time I had the dream, I went to where I had hid the body and dug it up. The dead person was my wife. How mad is that.

If you truly do not feel "murderous" toward anyone in waking life then chances are that your dream is not one to be taken seriously in a literal sense....however, it should be looked at more closely (by you alone) in a more "symbolic" way....obviously something is bothering you enough that it has manifested stress in your subconcious mind that then, in turn, manifests itself in your dreams.... It could be something like a large amount of repressed anger towards someone or some situation, something you've been feeling like ignoring because you feel helpless to control it....that is, until in your dream you "kill it".....You are the best interpreter of your own dreams....some dreams are easy to figure out because they make sense in a "literal" way- other times you have to look a lot deeper for the meaning because it's hidden in symbolism. Most dreams contain both literal and symbolic meaning. One thing I'm certain of is that ALL dreams have a meaning or a message to tell us, and if they can be interpreted (and the meaning or message "unraveled" or revealed)- it will help us function more healthily in our waking lives.

No if you feel bad enough to post this question then you obviously wouldn't do it in real life, your a good person.

If you believe in it, your dreams can represent things and stand as symbols...

Killing means - This is not especially the 'bad' killing, but it can be. More often killing is the killing off of a habit or childish things. If it is the bad killing then the dream has killed of his will to live

I can't find one for gay but - To see an anus in your dream, signifies negative emotions that you may be holding in and repressing. It represents feelings of guilt, shame, and self-worth. Alternatively, the anus is associated with your generosity or stinginess. Consider also you or someone in your life who may be anal retentive and perhaps need to loosen up a bit.

So quit with the bad habits and loosen up a bit.

No one should feel guilty for having weird dreams. You're not directly responsible for them and usually, they can't be tangibly controlled.

That being said, perhaps take some time off to examine yourself, do a soul search, if you will. Perhaps there is some reason or such dreams occur or some root that you don't know. Trouble is finding the connection because the obvious explanations aren't usually the accurate ones.

In the end, don't beat yourself up over it. Unless it reoccurs and torments you, chances are, it's no big deal.

And so you should love females....dreams are just your bodies way of sorting out different ideas-the fact that you wake up feeling guilty is a good sign..it'd be worse if you woke up wanting to kill someone, wouldn't it? You're probably now going to bed wondering about what nightmare you're gonna have which will make the problem worse. Rest assured that they're only dreams, nowt to worry about, honestly. hope this helps

Of course you shouldn't feel guilty. Like one of the posters said, we can't control our subconcious minds. Years ago I had a dream that I hid a dead body in the attic at my parents' house!! *eek* It was such a vivid dream that I searched the whole house from top to bottom. I was 16 at the time and studying for exams so I'm guessing that it was just a stress-related dream. Just one of those things.

No worries..dreams are weird sometimes.
