Militarily, yes.....but that's about it.
Economically, our GDP (that's Gross Domestic Product, or what economists call the measure of a country's economic output) is not the highest among nations. Depending on what you look at, we consistently get beat by...the U.K and/or China. And with the European Union becoming the European Union, we moved further down the list.
Educationally, we are among the lowest of developed countries, with developing countries ahead of us....like China....even Lebanon was ahead of us, pre-Israeli-destruction of their schools. Did you know they irradicated illiteracy in that country? I thought they barely had lights!
Many believe that we are the greatest country on Earth, but why?
How do you know unless you've been to at least 5 continents. I have been....and I believe this has the potential to be the greatest country in the world, but to just assume it without looking around a little bit and doing your own research is to assume it can never get any better, and it can. Just like the iPod got Video....good things can always become better, but great things are designed to fall.

PS...Russia could mess us up....They're forming coalitions that control more oil than ten times OPEC. They could see how well we live off the barrel. I have a feeling it'll be like a crackhead off that rock....very very sick....in a bad way
And China has an army in the millions and a bunch of technology stolen from the U.S.. You know how us asians bootleg everything? yeah, well they just bootlegged your tanks.....AND your nukes!!! They got busted after the fact too....but who wanted to try to make that arrest?

Get a grip on reality George, Russia can't feed her own troops and most of their tanks are rusting for parts, China can't go any farther than they can walk or take the train, our 7th fleet is bigger than their entire Navy, and Germany doesn't want to try that again I don't think. Wishful thinking won't make us go away no matter how hard you try

USA is a place where you can worship any god, speak any language, be any race... a FREE SOCIETY. Do that in Cuba, China...and others.
