You must be thick friends that even unintentionally you don't wanna slap your friend but instead mentioned you love him / her.. That shows you truly love your friend and this friendship means a lot to you. Just say so and figure out what went wrong and if you still wanna slap go right ahead.......

You probably really do love that friend. Take heed, I really did slap a friend a few days ago because he make me really upset, but I instantly regretted it. Iam lucky and we were able to make up and our friendship is still strong, but I could have lost a very important person in my life due to a burst of anger. He is still giving me crap about it too! so, be careful what you wish for!

Maybe you do love that person unconcioussly? Or just tell them your mistake, it is best to tell them straight away so they don't get a chance to think of it too much. Say that you saw the word love as you wrote it and some how your brain typed that by accident.

You wanna slap your friend consciously but subconsciously you love your friend.
Sometimes love is sprung from hate itself.
