NOpe..I believe cartoons are the best tv aired these days. The best shows sundays are all cartoons! I rather watch Family guy, futurama, the simpsons, Bugs bunny and Daffy duck..instead of reality shows with people puking and eating diisgusting stuff. honestly..cartoons make me smile...if I watched all the non-cartoon shows, I would probably never watch tv.

No it isn't a bad thing. Its just a form of entertainment. Their are cartoons geared to young kids then you have Adult Swim which is geared towards adults. And then you have some that are a mix of both.
What makes cartoons so appealing is that they are able to show a world with no limits unlike Live Action shows which have a set limit without using alot of money on special effects and even still it isn't as seamless as a cartoon would be.
Some cartoons even go more indepth with moral values and self worth than alot of other shows on TV today. And some people can relate better to the characters in the cartoons because it is easier to show personality and emotion than having actors try to act that way and not completely fit because the cartoon charaters are draw to match their personality.
Yes there are good ones and bad ones just like with anything, but their isn't anything to be ashamed about by watching it.
I know a 76 year old man who rather watch a decent cartoon than any of the Reality TV which is on the air. He watches Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network all the time and he watches The Simpsons and Family Guy religiously.
I'm 24 and I enjoy them better than the regular alternatives myself.

Nope. It is not a shame. I watch Cartoon Network sometimes too. Some cartoons are in fact more entertaining and educational than some A-grade movies.

ALL adults should watch cartoons, and learn how to laugh and have fun, instead of being too serious all the time, Im 46 years old, and I love watching cartoons with my 2 kids (12 & 14) and we have a great time together, all parents should spend as much time with their kids as they can.

Not at all...I watch it (well, at least the shows I like)...more a shame that just because we're quote, unquote "adults" we're not supposed to watch cartoons? Not only are they part of our past in some cases, in many others they're just too damn good...

Hardly. More adults should watch the cartoon network. If more people had a solid sense of humor that wasn't based on sex and fart jokes, than we'd all be better off.
Not that there's anything wrong with the occasional sex or fart joke. It's just they're the lowest forms of humor.

no, cartoons may still have that little kiddie view on them but some of them deal with very adult issues (mainly the more serious Aime from japan, such as ghost in the shell) plus the old Warner brother cartoons are classic and bring a feeling of the old days, plus you can bond with the kiddies easier
