always remember the basics to do well in algebra..
i will give some hints.. which i remember now..
1. what you do to an equation on the left side should be done on the right side too. ( add, sub, mul, divide, etc)
2. a^y + a^y ==> 2 a^y ... for eg., x^2 + X^2 ==> 2X^2 ( and not x^4)
3. a^y * a^y ==> a ^ 2y ... ( pls note the difference in point 2 and point 3 cos it's very vital)
4. a^x * a^y ==> a^(xy)
5. a^x + a^y ==> a^x + a^y
there are a lot of other points too... but it will be too much for now.. u just remember the above points for a while... rest will go fine surely...
also, pls be confident while taking the test... u wil know how much difference it makes to you score...

Put things into perspective about your math ability....
Einstein's math professor told him he was obviously not suited for math and should study in some other discipline since he would never amount to anything. I have always done better at math when I can visualize what is going on. Numbers are numbers and not very entertaining. When you realise that the numbers represent something and you can imagine or picture the what that they represent, you may find it easier to understand and grasp. Another thing I have always thought when doing anything is that I am not the first to do whatever it is. If they can do this, then so can I cause if they can do this, it cannot possilby be that difficult.
Oh yeah...best of luck.

Apply jack of all & master of none theory but in reverse mode . Instead of preparing the entire syllabus , prepare a few topics which are of your interest and in which you can have full confidence . As in , any problem from those topics , you should be able to solve correctly & quickly . Prepare 50% of your syllabus and go thru important questions .Try this . It works & you still have time . You wont flunk .

hi kelsey , if you study , that will be fine!
I remember , just this last week , i had my final English exam (intermediate2 , english isn't my national language) and i didn't revise anything at all!
some days after , dad told me that i got 89% i think this was the first mark !
So don't stress , just cool down and revise all maths exercices you have!
Good luck!

Don't worry and just forget about it. Just have a deep thinking what this will matter in future and probably it won't matter. So why worry about something that won't matter in your life
