What aspect of life can you, Filipinos, be proud of?

I am proud of my culture and heritage. I am proud of our contributions to society through hardwork. I am proud to be Filipino (and I'm not even full Filipino!).
Many of my relatives work hard, studying to be nurses or doctors and following their dreams. Many of my cousins have received scholarships. My own mother received a full four-year scholarship to a prestigious college, after growing up in a poor household. My father has established his own business and is the president of an apartment complex in San Francisco. My uncle can speak six languages and travels worldwide, teaching and helping the poor.
Not only myself, but my brother and sister as well, study hard in school and achieve top grades. We take honors classes and have high ambitions for the future. I am especially proud of my mother, who grew up in a poor inner-city area and often went without food. She studied hard and is now happy, healthy, and successful, with an easygoing life.
I am proud of all my fellow Filipinos who have worked hard. I am proud of myself, my family, and my Filipino friends who have overcome racial discrimination and still strive on to be successful. I am proud to be Filipino, where family is very important and respect to our elders is widely taught. I proud to be Filipino, where we take care of our grandfathers and grandmothers and don't send them away to nursing homes. I am proud to be Filipino, with such a rich cultural heritage.
And no matter what anyone says, no matter how many people may try to degrade, I will always be proud to be Filipino.

I'd say the fact that we're just as mixed as every other race in this life. We're like asian/mexican! Its awesome that everyone is something but still all of us are people. And most are just blends of each other. We are truly a human family.

i don't know what make fillipinos proud of themselves. but in a performance, they chanted that they are proud of their race and their PURE Blood.

i have no clue but when you go to the Philippines its so beautiful! well at least 2 me it is.. :)
