My brother in law was diagnoised with lung cancer on April 27 and he died 27 of Nov. It's a tough road to have to walk for all involved. When it's classified as terminal that means that it will result in death. It's hard to give you more info since you did not state the type of cancer nor what stage it is and or what terminal illness that you're talking about. The other problem is that with cancer and terminal illnesses, there are so many different things that it can be different from person to person especially depending on the persons outlook and their attitude. Feel free to contact me if you want. I did learn alot about lung cancer and what to expect since I stayed and helped my sister with her husband and was there when he finally passed on. There are some really great things out there and it doesn't have to be a horrible thing. Medicine has come along way in making sure that people with cancer and terminal illnesses are comfortable and pain free and that their last days a of a good quality. May you find peace at this difficult time. I will say that you may not understand the why's right now but one day you will. Just make sure that you make the most of what ever time you have left. That way your family and or you will have NO regrets, at least you have time to prepare and say things that many don't get the chance to when they are taken suddenly. I don't know if that helps any but you do at least have the opportunity to make the most of what time is left. The rest is in Gods hands.

There are all kinds of facts/ statistics on cancer or any terminal illness. You can look them up on lots of websites as you already know. I hope you are doing some sort of report and not having to look these kinds of things up because you or someone you know if fighting for their life.
Just remember that there are two letters not three after a doctors name and it's M.D. not GOD. You can find all kinds of facts and statistics, but you can also find lots of hope and lots of stories about people that beat the odds.
Like I said I hope this is just for a report as a homework problem I will attach some websites for you. In them there are statistics as well.
I just realized you asked a similar question a week or so ago. Can you please let us know if this is just for a report. If you are going through this there are lots of of here that can share more than just facts and statistics.
Thanks
