Not at all. Love between friends is something completely different from love between lovers.
Its great to have a friend to whom you can say that you truly love them. It means you have a deep relationship with them that might last you a lifetime.

It's perfectly fine! One of my oldest and best friends is a male and I tell him I love him all the time. Another one of my best friends is a female and I tell her too that I love her- and, no, I am not gay.lol I'm only 29 but have lost many friends and family in my short life so far. Many of them I never had the chance to tell them how I felt about them while I had the chance. I think if anybody- family, friends, etc.- means something to you, if even just a little bit, you should definitely tell them while you have the chance. One day it may be too late.
P.S. Don't let your other friends get you down, do what is right for you! Remember how the old saying goes: "You can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but you can't please all the people all of the time."

i've got had an identical ingredient happen to me a pair of cases, so i will thoroughly relate! at an identical time as this is attainable that he likes you as better than a chum, this is plenty greater probable that he's merely your chum and is merely afraid that in case you have a boyfriend, your boyfriend will take priority over him...yet you probably did no longer point out how previous you're and which could make a distinction (i.e. in case you're approximately 18 there's a miles better probability he likes you as better than a chum, yet once you're approximately 25 he in all probability merely needs to maintain the friendship, yet that's in basic terms a wager) yet another ingredient is that he ought to in basic terms care approximately you as a chum and does not want to verify you get harm. he's a guy and is conscious how adult males think of, so he ought to %. up on some shady habit of your boyfriends which you ought to pass over...in basic terms a coaching

Yeah, one of my best friends (a girl) tells me that all the time. Seems like now-a-days people are real loose with the word 'love'. I wouldn't let other people get to you anyway.

Sure I do. People think it's weird because they're insecure and uncomfortable with showing affection themselves.
