i have a bestfriend, a guy and we have been friends for 12 years now. We would every now and then write on our emails that we love each other. Some people find that weird. Isn't it possible to say those words to your male bestfriends?

Not at all. Love between friends is something completely different from love between lovers.
Its great to have a friend to whom you can say that you truly love them. It means you have a deep relationship with them that might last you a lifetime.

It's perfectly fine! One of my oldest and best friends is a male and I tell him I love him all the time. Another one of my best friends is a female and I tell her too that I love her- and, no, I am not gay.lol I'm only 29 but have lost many friends and family in my short life so far. Many of them I never had the chance to tell them how I felt about them while I had the chance. I think if anybody- family, friends, etc.- means something to you, if even just a little bit, you should definitely tell them while you have the chance. One day it may be too late.
P.S. Don't let your other friends get you down, do what is right for you! Remember how the old saying goes: "You can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but you can't please all the people all of the time."

Yes we should love and help each other without seeing their religion and politics and races background..God created us in so much kind of races in order to introduce each other and do some works togather in coordination We say salam or peace to each other and make a friendship relationship.A good and extent freindship relationship will give us a long life and receive much subsistence or livelihood in this world.

Yeah, one of my best friends (a girl) tells me that all the time. Seems like now-a-days people are real loose with the word 'love'. I wouldn't let other people get to you anyway.
