The US media always portrays Arabs as savages living in tents and riding camels!! why don't they take a look at our countries, we ride german camels called "BMW" and "Mercedes Benz" the latest cars they dream of, from diablos and ferraris to BMW and benz. don't you think that it's rediculous what the US Media does??? and why do Americans buy everything their media says? why can't they search and read instead of believing everything CNN airs

Because, media in the states and in some european countries and in israel for sure, is not a free media, it is owned and controlled by the goverments, they give them the free to show people the truth about things the goverments choose, for example, what israel did lately in israel and lebanon, they are obliging media and especially arabic ones to leave israel and if their is some, they put so many rules and they have to obey.

jazeera reporter in north of israel, was taken to investigation several times, and put in jail for one or two days, just because he is saying the truth what is happening their.and israel f-16 and appachi followed media cars in south lebanon several time and so many injured and one killed when an appachi followed a car putting a big huge TV sign a blind can see it.they bombed this car and killed and injured who is inside because they dont want people in the world to know what is really going on.

While in lebanon, media from all over the world are moving and reporting and saying anything they see and no one stop them.

But, Bush,Rice,Bliar,STUPID Olmert, and many other leaders, want to show what they want to the american, european, israeli people, because i think if american and european see what is really happening and what their leaders are doing i think a lot of things would change inside these countries coz for sure the american and european would not agree for the massacares and for killing children and invading countries and stealing their oil,etc......................................................

America media is not Really Free, they are free about some topics like sex, social problems , reallity tv, some stuff like that so people believe their media because they show them a lot of things inside the states and let them feel that they r really free to investigate and to do anything they want. this is true but only inside the states and about topics that people care for mostly, social life,economics,...................

But,for people who wants the truth, they must search and look for the truth , and it is not that hard just watch some arabic media, or some of the european media they are more independent then the american media.

I think it depends upon a person who's watching this so called "one-sided-media" how much they will be affected by it or believe in it... I don't buy everything what the media says they always tend to blow things out of proportion, and yes, sometimes they are ridiculous. And, not only US media, I bet all "media" around the world does the same,it has something to do with "ratings". And by the way, when we talk about "media" it invovles not only TV, but also the Print (newspaper) and Radio.

So, what about BBC?

And, when you said "we ride German camels called "BMW" and "Mercedes Benz", "WE", you mean all Arabs, or all people there regardless if they are Arabs or not, or only just few of you? Its kinda misleading and that's kinda blowing things out of proportion. ^_^' Don't you hate it, when that happened?!

just because u put a bmw emblem on your camel doesn't mean its really a bmw.

same goes for all car emblems. A camel is a camel.

F'in muslims.

No really I'm just kidding. Couldn't resist. I don't know I don't think that they are that biased. I think that most of the problems that draw national attention take place in the poorer parts of muslim countries.

But also, let's be honest: aren't most of those countries third world countries? and didn't most of the people with the fancy cars and the luxury palaces get them because they are oppressing huge numbers of people into deplorable poverty? There is no free market over there. The wealth distribution is abominable.

Also, nobody despises the radical muslims because they're poor but because they foster terrorism! hello??

Why am I even responding to this drivel? Oh yeah, wanted to make above joke. lol.

PS. Learn how to spell ridiculous. Also, Who the hell makes their name to be sweet lucifer? I am now only more certain that I have debased myself by responding to this question. O well, at least I got 2 points.

I was watching cnn with John Roberts I think and he was behind the scene with a Hezbollah soldier showing him how they acted when the cameras were on them. How they made it look like there ambulances were going out bringing back patients when all they where really doing was driving around the block trying to make them look like they were being constantly assaulted but I don't see the Israels putting on a show and Im pretty sure they have camels over there to , oh and they to probably have BMW's

Sounds like you are upset that Americans are making untrue assumptions about your people, but, ironically, you are also making incorrect assumptions about us. I've never even seen a person from the Middle East on a camel. The news over here shows your cities and cars and people doing just what people do. Just like us and everyone else. Just remember that few people really believe ALL of what the news shows us and that most people in the U.S. hope for peace for the Arab nations.

You obviously have not seen Arab media.

Muslim and Arab media is FAR more biased and one sided than any CNN or FOX news combined.

Christians and Jews in Muslim media are portrayed as blood sucking, beligerent, baby eating infidels. In Saudi Arabia, the media spreads extremely false propoganda...some even as stupid as that Jews drink the blood of Muslims and Christians. So before you claim that US media is one sided, take a look at your own media you insular fool.

By the way, I find it disgusting that you value your country by how rich the few are. I don't care that they have nice cars in Saudi Arabia, women aren't even allowed to drive there.

Why is the media outside the US so one sided?

Listen up, I feel like I have said this a million times. NOT everything is our fault. For the love of God. If anything happens around the world, everyone says we are to blame.

We do we portray people as savages. Well normal people don't attack the innocent. Normal people don't declare murder is justified. Normal people try to live in peace.

Do you guys in the middle east want the US out of your business and your region. Stop killing each other. Yep it's that easy. You don't see us attacking Japan, England, Europe in General, Australia, etc etc etc. And why, because they attempt to live in peace. Crazy concept I know.

Stop acting like children and we wont have to treat you as such.

Mostly because it's not a piece of news that people live in peace. It's not only US media, it's the same everywhere else. Anyway, Osama did a good job in drawing attention to Islam, didn't he? Since 9/11 everyone talks about Muslims.

The media doesn't have to paint the muslim people in a bad light. Every time something happens that the muslims don't like.. they riot and destroy something that symbolizes the west. They throw shoes and rip at glass with their bare hands. No way to put a positive spin on effigies of western leaders and our countries flags being burned. That's like blaming Orkin for making cockroaches look bad in their commercials.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU GET ALL YOUR INFORMATION FROM STATE-RUN MEDIA.

WE HEAR ALL SIDES FROM ALL MEDIA SOURCES.

REMEMBER, WE HAVE IMMIGRANTS FROM EVERY COUNTRY LIVING HERE. WE KNOW MORE ABOUT THE WORLD THAN EVERYONE ELSE.

PERHAPS IF MUSLIMS STOPPED BOMBING NEW YORK, LONDON, MADRID, MUMBAI, BALI, AND OTHER CITIES THE REST OF THE WORLD MIGHT BE A LITTLE LESS AFRAID OF MUSLIMS.

MAYBE YOU SHOULD LOOK AT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN.

I NEVER SAW ONE AMERICAN MEDIA SOURCE PORTRAY ARABS AS LIVING IN TENTS AND CAMELS.

I DO SEE MANY AMERICANS PROTESTING AGAINST THEIR GOVERNMENT, THAT CAN'T HAPPEN IN EGYPT, JORDAN, SYRIA OR SAUDI ARABIA.

HOW COME A CHRISTIAN CAN'T PRAY OR CARRY A BIBLE IN SAUDI ARABIA?

Reality check sweet. Media isn't always about the truth.

It's about ratings, and if telling a half-truth or exaggeration is needed to get additional ratings or swing influence....there you have it. The Muslims and the Arabs get shafted while Ted Turner goes to the bank.

Thank you very much.

Peace.
