Human motivation is a response that our body has to some
form of either internal or external stimulation.

In simple terms, it means that our body is responding to
stimulation. An example is that we are motivated to eat
something because we are hungry. We are directing a
behavior to a particular goal. Humans need to be motivated
to do just about anything in life. That is why it is so
Important to set goals.

Sure, we may not need to set a goal to eat, sleep or drink.
Those are internal stimulations. But sometimes in life we
find that we need to motivate ourselves to do other
important functions in life.

Some of these include: losing weight, exercising, quitting
smoking, cleaning the house, doing homework or finding a
job. Those are just to mention a few.

The bottom line is, we need to set goals to do some of
these things. Without goals, we really can't begin to get
motivated. As humans, we need to have the reason to do
something. That is how our brain works.

There are three basic types of personalities
that determine human motivation.

1. The need for achievement is the drive to excel at things
and strive to succeed. This type is in it for the
competition only.

2. The need for power is the desire to make people behave a
certain way with the power of human motivation. This type
of person is in it for the power and could care less about
the competition.

3. The need for affiliation is the strong needs for close
interpersonal relationships with others. This type of
person is in it for friends. They will cooperate just to
have the social aspect.

These are all types of personalities that are part of human
motivation. It is what drives us to think the way we think
and desire the things that we desire.

Depending on which human motivation type you are will
determine what motivates you. There can also be a
combination of two or three to make up someone's
personality.

Everyone is different in that different things motivate
each and every one of us. In order to get motivated, one
needs to first set goals out in front of them to meet. They
need to be goals that are within reach.

Then after the goals have been set down, it is time to get
a plan on what it will take to meet your goals. Write it
down and prioritize the things that need to be done in
order to achieve this motivation.

The final stage to human motivation is to make a commitment
to keep focused on the goals. Remember, motivation is what
drives us all. We need to have it to achieve anything.

Although some lucky people seem to be born highly
motivated, if you are of at least average intelligence you
can learn how to be motivated. No matter how unmotivated
you have been up to now you can still become a winner.

A winner is simply someone who
utilizes their resources and
brain power to their best
advantage while maintaining
a positive motivation and
attitude. If you have ever
wished to be a winner, look
for the motivation and attitude
to help you succeed...

How is everything so easy?
All they have to do is find food and water for the day and hang out.
In the US and other western countries you have to be busy all the time trying to stay off the street, not get shot, not get robbed, not lose your home, hope nothing blows up today, take care of your kids in a world that wants to make them think they’re stupid by 5 and ugly and in need of plastic surgery by 12, you have to stay on top or learn the best places to sleep on the street and not get used for either a sex toy or for some jump in to use you for a victim. You have bills, and goals and ambition, and people telling you cant have it, you’ll never make it, or, what to want, think, smell like, eat, what colour your hair is supposed to be,or that your the new group to hate because you smoke, what to wear, buy and add to after you buy. Advertising makes a bid for you mind on a constant basis, and the whole world thinks you are your just like your government, not an individual human trying to make their way down their own path. Not to mention the million 5 religions telling you daily your headed for some dirty fire pit because you don’t know the secret hand shake or you held your tongue wrong when you prayed or some other “be like me” horror, plus men and women have Still not learned they want the same thing from each other and live in the premise of denial, happy pills or street meds to take the edge off of their fear of being discovered a weak fragile human like the rest of the race. It's like high school with no teachers or parents with rampant lookism, clothe snobbery, self important jackassery and scary bullies who make sure you feel stupid because your not wearing a belly shirt or have no ipod or some other massivly trivial thing. And I am going to leave a lot out now, because I dont want to write a novel for free on yay hooo.
Where do you live that’s easy??

Be grateful to the Divine for all your blessings. Pray for those on whom fortune has not smiled yet. You would be amazed how motivating that can be too.

Earl Nightingale, the legendary promoter of the power of positive thinking, suggests that as part of our success plan, we must always set aside a small % of our earnings for charity. Not only it may give a new chance to a needy person, but it will also lift our own spirits and motivate us to more success.

As the media shows us the suffering all over the world, it is hard to look at some of our priorities the same.

You are entitled to your life, your style and your priority. Try and become a bit involved in some effort that helps around the world--fundraising for AIDS, etc.

Let your politicians know that you want your country involved in helping other countries.

The best thing to do, though, is to fully appreciate how fortunate (we--those of use who have technology) you are.

There are millions of things in the world that you can't change, there are things that you can.

Focus on the things you can, accept the things you can't. Ig change is possible then the only way for you to find happiness is to do something about the poverty facing third world countries.
