I was given a letter of acceptance and have had nothing but raving reviews. The business manager has it out for me and has pulled strings enough to have the offer withdrawn. There are no fulltime positions as hotline counselor until me. I have been getting almost 120 hours every 2 weeks and have been busting my @$$ here. My boss says he is going to the mat for me and I hope he gets it through. I need the insurance and w/ so many hours I need to earn time off as well. Can they withdraw an offer like that if it was not withdrawn for work performance? Have any advice?

They have just put it through again that i am full time with full benefits. Hopefully it'll last this time. Thanks all for your answers- it was a great support.

Sounds like you probably work for a non-profit, its not uncommon for them to hire "pending funding." This could be part of the problem, or a creative excuse.

you say your boss is going to bat for you. Either your boss can solve it or not. If they win so do you, if they don't then neither do you.

A company can do anything they want. If they want to start full time positions, they can, and they can back out of it. But they may not share with you the workings of the company, i.e. tell you why they cancelled full time positions. Maybe it had nothing to do with you. Maybe it was a company financial decision.

You said you received an acceptance letter, but you didn't say you had an offer letter or a letter saying you were starting full time, so now I'm confused.
