I wasn't a huge fan of Mel Gibson before his anti-jew tirade, but now I have begun to respect the man for stepping up. He's not a coward like most you are. He has a backbone and he speaks his mind. There are far and few in between these days who will lay it all out there and Mel Gibson is one of them.
Everyone else is a leech who feeds off you in Hollywood, but not Mel, he's a powerhouse who makes great movies and he sticks it to the JEWS.
There is nothing wrong with his point of view. I can respect it. I am not anti-jewish, that is important to know. I am not writing this to incite any hatred. I am writing this because an innocent man can't speak his mind in the US anymore for fear of backlash.
Mel Gibson cannot be discounted as a 'drunkard' and a 'loser'. He is a powerful force and I stand by with his character.
Yes he was drunk, yes he drives a new 06' Lexus LS 450, but no he didn't mow down some innocent orphan on the road. He said a few things and let him be.

Mel Gibson ROCKS

i especially hate the pro-jewish comments some of you made. it was very whiny as usual and it is uncalled for. i am not a nazi.
nobody said anyone was interested in another holocaust against your people.
by the way, i like german people, but i like them because they are smart engineers and good people.

I, too, like Mel Gibson. I always have. I think he is a character above reproach in many cases. Rarely has he been in the public eye with so many defamatory remarks. His work is good and he was just stating an OPINION, which I think we are all entitled to. That doesn't make him bad. It could, however, hurt his chances of being seen on the big screen. It almost did the Dixie Chicks in and what they said was only opinion based.
Besides that, how many times have people said stuff while under the influence that they wouldn't ordinarily say?

He will definitely take a hit but as far as staying strong he apologized for everything he said the next day. It is very wrong for people to blame something on gender or race. It has no fact. People can't help hoe they were born. I like Mel Gibson as an actor and I will still see his movies but I definitely wont respect him as a person.

He speaks his mind? You respect him? He said a SLEW of anti semetic remakrs while DRUNK... thats not speaking his mind its being an anit-semetic drunk who lashes out. And afterwards he 'takes it back' says he said a lot of things in a drunken state he didn't mean. Thats not BACKbone at all! I wouldn't respect him if he said that ya he said it and means it regardless but, Not only is he spinless, he's a terrible person too. His father hated jews and beleived the holocaust never happend. Its a horrible thing to deny and if you deny it you're lying to yourself. Let him be? If it was anyone else we wouldn't let it be, he gets paid millions of dollars he can PUT up with some paparazzi harassment for his horrible sluede remakrs. I hope he gets what he deserves. Some of the above coments SICKEN me, you people have no care in the world for anyone but yourself, racism is a crime.

like all these a**holes on tv don't drink and drive - poor mel just got caught - i feel bad for him. he is a decent guy who is getting a bad rap. It's all over the news when there are people dying and being raped and missing - I know DWI is wrong but he wasn't that drunk. .12 is like 3 drinks - he got caught. He has a problem. Some celebs have done worse and no media - no drama. This damn country is turning into a bunch of liberal radical no education John Kerry know nothing at alls. They just listen to the opinion of someone else and take it on 4 themselves since they know nothing at all and it is truly very scary what this world is coming to - even with the war - umm there is no draft - our soldiers wanted to defend their country and that is what they are doing. so to all of u liberal uneducated want everything for nothing idiots - shut the **** up for once!

Well its obvious that his close ties to the police force have helped him out and I think that's WRONG.... He is free to spout all the anti-Jewish hate speak that he wants to and dipsticks like you will still admire him for it, but when he gets preferential treatment from the police because of his celebrity status, that pisses me off! He is no better or worse than any average citizen in the eyes of the law, or at least that's what we're told. He should face the same punishment that Leroy Washington, or Chiam Rabinowitz or Li Tai Wong would face in his situation, nothing more, nothing less.

I think the only thing he regrets is that there was not a Jew in front of his Lexus for him to mow down and stick it to. Dr. Christian, Christ preached tolerance. Tolerance to all, not just some. Gibson has made anti semitic comments berfore as well as his father. Maybe he should turn his passion into compassion for those of other faiths. I am sure Christ would agree passionately.

You definitely 14. fan actors that do nothing and become rich and so popular. The problem is, that Child like you can be affected by his thought and do somthing bad to innocent pepole like the jews. We can learn from the Nazis that were sooo stupid to belive that the jews are the causes for there problem. You see stupid child what happend? 60 million dead all over the world. So you are proud so what!!! The jews are the only one who look further; work for living and do nothing to anyone. And now the israeli army is strong just because we are frightened from pepole like you. And I can promise you, There will not be Next holocaust!!!!

After analyzing each and all of the responses as much as now, I would desire to declare how ignorant human beings are. the only reaction that had any real intelligence became from pynkbyrd. Mel Gibson became no longer being referred to as to activity for employing under the impact of alcohol, although he would desire to have been. He became referred to as to activity for the numerous deplorable issues that he suggested and how he reacted to being arrested and made liable for his movements. human beings have suggested he would desire to be forgiven for issues that he suggested whilst intoxicated. despite if, we are at our maximum uninhibited as quickly as we are below the impact. His upbringing from an anti-semitic father has shined sparkling by using. the guy who replied with the contract that each and all of the wars have been began by using Jews needs to take a historic previous type. only take a seem at what is going on interior the middle East on the instant! Mel Gibson is supposedly engaged on a challenge for television with reference to the Holocaust. it particularly is a real exposure circulate. So, i gets off of my cleansing soap field and say that i won't manage to assist any of Mel Gibson's artwork.

i think he will pull thru, regardless of the anti-jew tirade. remember that a lot more celebrities had made worse mistakes, and got away with it using their money and power. what mel did was realtively harmless. but it was a disappointment to see what hypocrites these famous people are.
im not gonna say anything about the things he said about jews, that was his personal opinion, and completely irrelevant to his DUI.

I think it's ironic that your name is Dr Christian.... there is nothing Christian about you! So, you claim you are not anti-Semitic... yet, you use the phrase "stick it to the JEWS"! Remember, Christian that Jesus Christ was born a Jew and died a Jew! So, I must assume you'd like to stick it to him too! Grow up! Oh, and thank heavens he didn't "mow down" some orphan in the road. Let's hope next time he drives drunk - you are the one in the road!
