i think what is more worrying is that it is taking so long for the arab world to respond.... one has to ask why.
what i see is that this is just the beginning, the purpose for the mid.east here is to expose israel and it's allies (i don't think they planned this, it has just fallen in their laps). by doing this they will they will get the support they need when further conflict breaks out, as it will. israel has lost so much face in this out burst, and revealed so much of their agenda, that they will not be able to stop, they now have to see their agenda through in an effort to regain face.
thanks for the links... getting all sides of a story is difficult. i wouldn't worry about a few civilian volunteers, worry more about the political manuvers. eg.
Iran is consulting all muslim nations on the crisis (notibly not lebanon, who is holding the hot potato at the moment)
palastine is consulting all arab nations
turkey has been extremely quiet... if anyone has any news on what statements turkey has made it would be interesting. understandably, they are walking a line with their EU application pending.
all UN nation countries seem to be bowing to the US edict not to critisise israel.... quite frankly i don't think critism will make a difference... so on this score, the US have proven that for the sake of peace, the world will bend over backwards in the face of humanitarian crime. this is not a good political move if the agenda is peace, and one should ask why they would humiliate and antagonise so many nations in this way on the issue of a soldier swap?
like i said this is just the beginning, the real war has not begun... that requires planning and purpose (the purpose has just been provided), esp. if you want to win it. i give it 3 years from now for the s*** to hit the fan.
good luck.

Nice don't you Neocons think it's time to sign up for the army and support Bush your President? I can see a draft coming real soon and when that happens the army doesn't give out any deals anymore...Your just a Gomer Pile grunt private body...At least if you get a jump on it, you could get some rank and the CO's wouldn't use you for shields on the field. How old is that video anyway?
America has Iran and Iraq Internet cut out (BLOCKED) right now as of the first of this month, so this is really hard to believe like the Osama Bin Laden videos are
