It is a fact that Israelis are fighting for their survival. As the past history shows jews have been victimised by every nation.
They are now fighting with their back to the wall. If they lose they have no place to go and will be totally butchered. The entire world mourns for one or two days and forgets about them.
Jews know it very well and before going down may inflict irreparable damages to it's foes.
Every day muslim extremists are bombing and killing most innocent people around the world such as New York, Bali, Madrid,London, Bombay,Kashmir and very few Islamic countries feel regret about this. But whenever muslims come under reprisals everybody and every nation irrespective of their religious affilliation cry hoarse.
What is happenning in Lebanon is that terrorists can not always get away with what they do everywhere else.
It looks Israelis have decided that either they perish or survive to lead a fearless and dignified life.

Terrible but necessary. Lebanon isn't capable of controlling militias and the country is so divided that I think it would be impossible to have a strong government. Israel is just doing what the UN and Lebanon are incapable of doing. They use force yes and a lot of people die yes. Terrible it is when men, women, and children die. What do you do when your people live in constant fear and in a state of war in a way everyday? Hezbollah has to be dealt with and unfortunately the only solution is to kill as many as possible. I mean come on in another five years Hezbollah will rearm and be doing the same thing and maybe even sooner depending on how far Israel goes. Sad world of evil we live in. I just pray Christ will come soon.

Normal course of events, business as usual, the status quo. Muslims attack Israel, and when Israel strikes back, the Muslims cry and cry, "Look what the mean Israelis are doing to our children and our homes, boo hoo hoo!" Until Israel does to the Muslims what Germany tried to do to the Jews, there will be no end to it.

i think it's not as simple as israel is right and lebanon is wrong, or vice versa. the hisbullah was wrong to attack israeli border and kill those soldiers, but israeli was also wrong for going on a killing spree and murdering noncombatants.
it's really sad that the rest of the world (especially the UN) just stood by with their hands in their pockets unsure of what to do. all the violence has got to stop, it's really very simple.

Israel at least has the balls to do what America seems incapable of doing, that is killing muzzy terrorists. There will be no peace in the Middle East until every muzzy man, woman, and child is exterminated.
