Look through your stuff and find things you could sell then:

1) Advertise in local paper

2) Sell on Ebay

3) Take a stand at a local car boot sale

(I would suggest that order - local paper is probably best for easily saleable items. Ebay may be a bit slower and more work. Car boots are good for junk, paperbacks, knick-knacks &c)

Also think about what skills you may have that you could use in the evenings - nasty jobs like oven cleaning, for example(!) or easier ones which you could do from home. The more unusual, though, the more interest you might get in the short term! Put cards in local newsagents for 2 weeks.

Kind of short notice to try to come up with extra cash. I would say sell things you don't want or need by having a yard sale, or offer to clean houses on weekends, wash windows, yard work. If you are a good typist, maybe you can find some work there.
