Yes it is, depending on the site, but I work for a hotel and sometimes things get messed up, cards get charged twice. So if you do, make sure you keep an eye on your credit card statement.

The real question you should be asking is what measure does your credit card company take if your credit card was misappropriated and abused?
Hotle online booking websites vary in terms of their security level and it would be difficult to assume that what is safe for one website is going to be safe for others as well.

yes as long as you are protected and your computer is safe from outside ,i mean they can't steal your informations. One way to make sure that you are safe is to make sure your page is in https:/. (with s) bec.sometimes it doesnt have s.
