Sad to say that, you have to put in more effort than the others.
In Spore, we do welcomed overseas talents, but some companies do restrict to only a certain countries of talents, and not all.
In-order to get a job which is eqvlent to your professionalism, try showing some logical and physical proof when you send out your resumes and while you attend to interviews.
Never show hold-back due to you are a foreigner or etc.

The career center at your alma mater should be able to give you some good contact information, or at least helpful tips on how to do this. I would also do some internet search engine searches to discover positions in Singapore. . .
