Run a system restore and restore it to the point it was at before the mishap. Go to search, all files and folders, type in system restore, and click on it when it pops up. It will give you a date and time when your computer last saved. Click on the one you want. It should be restored the way it was. Good luck!!

Depending on your word processor program, all copied materials are stored in the clipboard. Some versions store not just the current copy but also previous copies.
A quick fix is Try CtrlZ as many times as necessary until what was there appears. I can not garantee it will work.

Try looking in MS word if you have it.. it might be in the clipboard que. If not then hopefully you saved the important info before you pasted over it. If thats the case then close the document and dont save the changes, when you reopen it.. it'll be ok.

You should always save thing's to draft when you write something important. I don't think there is any way to access what it was unless you did save it, sorry. Good luck!!

can you right click on the document and hit undo - under the edit tab maybe or if it was saved before you can close it and click no to save changes - or try control and z to undo. good luck - i hate that!

i dont think billy gates himself could help you with this one buddy.
try Alt E*U. see if it will undo what you just did. or try to go into your windows recovery system. or.........pray?
i know how this feels....i did it to a term paper last year. i had to redo the whole thing.
