Actually I saw with my own eyes on the news on tv at the time, men, women and even young children burning american flags and laughing their asses off at the tragedy at the world trade centre. For the record -I'm NOT American so I think I am looking at this objectively. I AM sorry about the carnage as I truly hate war -I'm very sad about the little children but I'm torn with my feelings about Israel's actions as on one hand they do have the right to defend themselves and on the other I believe if they don't stop soon there will be world war III :-(

I had forgotten about that. I have a great deal of trepidation about getting involved with Lebanon. We already have our hands full with Iraq and Afghanistan. Why can't we involve ourselves with the stable countries like Norway and Sweden. Let's send our troops there, although they might not want to come back. We are getting ourselves involved with more than we can handle.

Where do you get your info?! The Lebanese people DID NOT dance for joy after 9/11. And frankly, even you actually believed that, do you still have "mixed feelings" about inoccent children being killed? I cannot imagine being anything but shocked and horrified at civilians of any nationality being killed, whether we're talking about 9/11, the Middle East, or anywhere else in the world.

i don't think there were very many actual Lebanese who danced for Joy after 9/11. i think it was Syrians and Palestinians occupying Lebanon . Lebanon is known as a very liberal country, and most of its people are educated and cosmopolitan

I don't think that it is the Lebanese as a country. I think it is HEZBOLLAH Terrorists that rejoiced.
