Good question. Still trying to figure out the answer for myself. Personally, I want to tell him, but just don't have the courage. I really value our friendship and am terrified of ruining it if he doesn't feel the same. I guess you just have to decide that the risk is worth it and take a leap, I mean isn't that what love really is, a risk? For now I'm too chicken to say anything but I'm working on finding my courage.

Not yet experienced falling in love with my best friend but my friends did. My advice is that think it over first, because if the relationship doesn't work out right, there is a chance that it will ruin the friendship. Take care and God bless ^_^

I think that you should tell them and explain why you love them and for how long you've been in love with them.
Don't be afraid to tell them the truth, i mean true best friends tell each other the truth and your friend knows this.
Maybe things will work out for the better and if not, well edleast you told them the truth and got it off your chest. I mean, technically, you're lying to your best friend every day if you don't tell them the truth.

This happened to me about 4 years ago, I never told him, better I acted like I didn't care. We got drunk one nite and slept together. It pretty much ruined everything (although the sex was AAAmazing), he moved away. Have no idea where he is. I think he did return my feelings, but I was too chicken to ask or even acknowledge my feelings. It still makes me cringe. I wish I had told him. Even if he didn't feel the same way, at least I would know. I can't change that now. That was my mistake, so I think you should definitely tell.

I think it is very easy to fall in love with your best friend, you are already best friends right, so there must be something that makes you two click. however, you shouldnt let love ruin your friendship. tell him/her, but dont remind them every second of the day. see what happens from there.

Don't ask him yet. First look for signs to see if he feels the same way. Then jokingly ask if he's in love with you. If he says yes, then you should tell him you kind of like him too. If he says no, then you can just laugh it off as a joke or tell him you were teasing him. Good luck!

Of course you should tell him or her! This might be the beginning of the love of your life. If he or she is your friend they love you already too.

well in my view best frnds if their opposite sex than they cannot be never frnds they always fall in love with each other go and tell him/her i hope if ur best frnds thn u would lead a happy life cause best frnds always have good understanding

Don't you think it's best for them to know how you feel?Tell them,it wont drive them away,they may want to say the same to you.You'll never know until you act.do it now!

Just flirt with them and see if they respond, and if she keeps talking about her old boyfriends then she's interested in you. If she talks about her nails, and shopping, and her friends then no she just considers you like a girlfriend. Good luck!
