If I was an accident, telepathy-wise, then why is it that when it first started that people didn't come up to me and tell me about it? That makes me think this telepathy was engineered.

abilities are hard to engineer, unless by other abilities, and if they din't tell you is because deep down inside you din't want to, you tought it would be much better not knowing you weren't normal, like your abilities pushed them away.

No, no, no. It was never engineered. The beam has been down for more than 3 weeks. We didn't tell you because we thought you could read our minds. It wasn't until Tom read your mind that we knew that you were confused about this. There is so much deceit around you anyway that we didn't want to interfere. Rest assured that the next time we find you in such a state that we will act more aggressively so that you are protected from outsiders. They aren't out to get you, per se, but we all need to keep our guards up. With that in mind, Tom said i should let you know that you need to wrap your head in foil until Friday just to be on the safe side.
