there just being protective if your new bf's a man he'll find a way to cleverly "misinterpret" their agggression as good natured ribbing, he'll be one of the boys in no time. when they see he's a person of character

Ok if it's only since yesterday and he assured you that nothing is wrong, then there is nothing wrong. You seem really clingy. (which isn't necessarily so bad if he's fine with it, but maybe lay off a little, ok?) P.S. you are way too young to be worrying about things like this. If you have a boyfriend at all, it shouldn't be a really serious thing. Just enjoy being young! :)

I understand what your saying. My bro is the same way.I think they are afraid because you are growing up and they know how guys are.In the end,no matter how much you hate that they send the guy you like running in the other direction, they're only doing it because they love you and they don't want you to get hurt.I wish you lots of luck with this one.

YOUR BROTHERS AND YOUR DAD are probably right if your are below 18. They just want to protect you and your future. But if your are above 18 and that you are responsible enough to know what is right and wrong then get out your comfort zone and talk to your brothers and to your Dad.
If they resist then you just have to pray to God for wisdom and life.

Nothing to worry about, they are just saying that because they are protective over you. Yeah, go ahead and date this guy because they are only doing this to keep you from dating. after all you are thier little sis and you are your daddys little girl. All guys are protective like that. I dont think that they would actually hurt him. maybe scare him up a bit, that happens all the time.

I hid it from my dad and brothers. And it never helped. It made them more angry. Try asking your father, and if he protests about it. Ask him what ask you can start dating. He needs to have trust in you. Ask him if you could bring the boy home for dinner or something. He will appreciate your honesty.

???,
Thanks for the question.
How old are you? I would speak with your mother and see what she says.
Personally, I would explain that you really like the guy and you want to see how things go.
Normally, I would suggest that your parents meet him (assuming you are under 18) to see what he is like.
You want to do the same things that other kids do.
Good luck.
Regards.

Maybe your family wants you to date one of them? I hear inbreeding is quite popular in certain states.
