Make a list of agencies. Call a few of them and talk to some agent and ask them questions. They will be willing to talk to you. Create a targeted CV for your new desired role, and send it to a large number of agencies. Troll the job boards looking for positions. Try to place a few of your tech colleagues as practice and possible referral fees. Consider making your own placements and being your own agency. Good luck!
